UPPER DIR, March 18: The Wari police resolved mystery of a man missing for a month and found him murdered by a group of people in Lahore.

A team of Upper Dir police, with the help of Lahore police, conducted a raid in a house in Ali Razaabad area on Raiwand Road Lahore and arrested one of the assailants.

They had buried the man in a corner of the house after killing him.

Hukumat Khan, father of the deceased, Mohammad Omar, a resident of Badaam area in Nihag Darra, had registered an FIR with Wari police, saying his son, who had returned from Kuwait, had been missing for a month.

Police arrested an accused Saddam Hussain who confessed to killing Mohammad Omar. Omer had been called to the place by phone by some people who had made friendship with him. Other accomplices were identified as Mohammad Razaq and a woman Saeeda. All the three perpetrators hailed from Nowshera.—Correspondent
