PESHAWAR, Oct 9: The provincial minister for education, Syed Imtiaz Hussain Gilani, has constituted a committee to visit Dera Ismail Khan and look for a suitable building, preferably on the premises of Gomal University, for Gomal Medical College.
The committee would send its report to the minister within a week.
The decision was taken at a meeting attended among others by the vice-chancellor of Gomal University, Qazi Hifzur Rehman; agriculture secretary, and principal of Gomal Medical College.
The committee would visit both campuses of Gomal University to determine whether the medical college could be housed there or not.
In case of there was no possibility, the provincial government would be asked for allotment of land for the construction of the college.—PPI
