KARACHI, Dec 1: A team of the Karachi Building Control Authority demolished two illegal building structures in Gulberg and Jamshed Towns, but it returned unsuccessful from one place due to resistance by residents of a building.

A team, under the supervision of the town building control officer and the deputy TBCO of Gulberg Town, demolished the second floor of a building, which was constructed without approval from the competent authority.

Another team of the KBCA demolished a building structure in its initial stage in PECHS locality in Jamshed Town. But when this team went to demolish another illegal building, it had to face stiff resistance and people forced them to return.

The KBCA authorities have now decided to approach the area police to supervise the demolition on that plot.—PPI
