LAHORE, Feb 9: PML-Q parliamentary leader Chaudhry Zaheeruddin has criticised the Punjab government for registering a murder case against Mian Amer Mahmood.

In a statement on Thursday, he said during Shahbaz regime, Punjab had become a ‘police state’. He said a fair investigation should be launched to see the factors behind registration of a case against Mian Amer.

Amer has been booked in connection with the death of three girls at a musical concert organised by the Punjab Group of Colleges.

Meanwhile, PML-Q’s Punjab spokesman Akram Chaudhry said after acquiring the precious land of Kot Lakhpat fruit market, now the bigwigs of the Punjab government were after the land of Badami Bagh Bus Stand.

He said traders, labourers, vendors and transporters, who had lost their businesses because of highhandedness of the elements of the PML-N, would take their revenge in the coming election.
