KARACHI: Six cars, 22 bikes taken away

KARACHI, Nov 28: Twenty-eight vehicles — six cars and 22 motorcycles — were either hijacked or stolen in the city on Thursday, police said.

Two cars were hijacked. Four others were stolen.

Nine motorcycles were hijacked. Thirteen others were stolen.

Police also claimed on Thursday to have recovered three vehicles in the city.

ROAD ACCIDENT: A Thatta-bound bus collided with a minibus of F-1 route on Malir Bridge on Thursday evening, resulting in the death of three passengers. Only one of the dead had been identified as Iqbal.

Several others were injured.

The Edhi ambulance carrying one of the seriously injured collided with a bus near the FTC. The injured man died before he could reach hospital. The ambulance driver, Yaqoob, was also injured in the accident.

Four men and three women were injured when a minibus collided head on with a tanker at Nazimabad flyover at Iftar time.
