KARACHI: Black day observed

KARACHI, Nov 16: On the appeal of Pak-Afghan Defence Council a large number of people observed black day throughout Sindh on Friday as a protest against the USA-led air strikes on Afghanistan and the government’s logistic support to America.

According to Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam Pakistan, black day was observed in Larkana, Sukkur, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Kandhkot, Ghotki, Naushero Feroze, Nawabshah, Khairpur, Dadu, Badin, Sanghar, Hyderabad, Thatta, Hala, Thari, Mirpurkhas, Shahdad Kot, and Pano Aqil.

Protest rallies were taken out by the citizens and demonstrations were held in front of mosques after Friday prayers.—PPI
