RAWALPINDI, Nov 3: District Nazim Raja Tariq Kiani has said the grant of Rs30 million approved by the governor Punjab for seven postgraduate colleges would be spent on the construction of auditorium, additional classrooms and other facilities.

The district Nazim, in an interview, said the education sector was the top priority of the district government.

The amount announced by the governor will help in the completion of extension work as the budget allocated by the district government was not sufficient for the purpose, he added.

The colleges where the amount will be spent include Asghar Mall Post Graduate College; Government Post Graduate College for Women, 6th Road; and Viqarunisa College.
