ISLAMABAD, Nov 1: A leader of Pakistan Muslim League (Quaid-i- Azam) Sheikh Rashid Ahmed on Friday said that PML-Q and Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal are like natural allies and his party will welcome MMA as partners in the coalition government at the centre.

Speaking in a PTV programme, he said the PML-Q and MMA appear to be arriving at a consensus for government making as they jointly nominated PML-Q parliamentary leader Shujaat Hussain as a coordinator to facilitate discussion with the government on Legal Framework Order (LFO).

Sheikh Rashid said Legal Framework Order (LFO) has become a “contentious issue.” Both sides have to show accommodation and settle issues related to LFO in a “spirit of give and take,” he added.

He said the announcement of results of seats reserved for minorities and women will further clarify the situation.—APP
