Scholarships for Toba students

TOBA TEK SINGH, Oct 31: The Faisalabad Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education on Thursday awarded Quaid-i-Azam scholarships to seven students of Toba Tek Singh district on the basis of their secondary school certificate examination 2002 results.

They are Muhammad Suhaib, Abdul Hanan Tahir, Muhammad Sulman and Muhammad Tanvir of the Government Islamia Secondary School, Toba Tek Singh; Irfan Ahmad and Muzammal Chaudhry of the Government High School No 1, Pirmahal; and Ali Raza of the Government High Secondary School, Rajana.

CASE REGISTERED: A man was booked for fraud on the complaint of EDO (Education) Bilqees Akram on Thursday.

Allah Ditta of Chak 150 GB secured the job of a Naib Qasid on the basis of fake orders of the Punjab education secretary. He was posted at Government Girls High School, Chak 340 GB.

On verification, the orders were found fake and Allah Ditta was terminated from service.
