KARACHI, Oct 30: Speakers at a seminar on Narcotics said narcotics is an international problem and it could be solved through concerted efforts of the people of every country.

The seminar on “Love Life, Negate Narcotics”, was jointly organized by Tai’s Bando Karate Centre and Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) here on Wednesday, a press release said.

The experts in narcotics from the US, Geoffrey Barton and Agnes Alymagambetov, president of The Helpers Organization M. A. Majid Kalim, Sardar Khan and Mohammad Ashraf Tai spoke on the occasion.

The speakers underlined the need to spread awareness among the people about the negative effects of narcotics on human body and mind.

They said the use of narcotics also caused other social evils.

They said narcotics addicts needed attention and love and they should not be hated.—APP
