HYDERABAD: Traffic week inaugurated

HYDERABAD, Oct 28: The district traffic police inaugurated `Traffic Week’ on Monday by organising a walk to create public awareness about traffic rules.

The district Nazim, Makhdoom Rafiquzzaman, the district police officer, A. D. Khwaja, the additional DPO, Sharjeel Karim Kharal and the traffic in-charge, Ayub Durrani, led the participants of the walk.

The walk, a prelude to the traffic week, began from Pakistan Chowk and ended at the local press club.

School children and scouts also participated in the walk.

The Nazim called for equitable treatment of all offenders, saying that the traffic police should issue challans even to the Nazimeen if they were found guilty of traffic violation.
