KARACHI: Interviews at SSUET

KARACHI, Oct 27: The interviews of candidates for admission to various engineering disciplines in the Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology completed on Sunday.

As many as 1,796 candidates were interviewed, including 295 girls.

Of the total candidates, 884 (49.22%) were interviewed for electronic engineering, 637 (35.47%) for computer engineering, 94 (05.23%) for biomedical engineering, 14 (0.78%) for civil engineering and 167 (09.30%) for computer science.

The minimum percentage stood at 54.55 and maximum at 85.45. The number of students with 80 per cent and above marks stood at 35.—APP
