Rain forecast

ISLAMABAD, May 31: A weather expert from the Met Office forecast rain with thunderstorm in the twin cities and adjoining areas within 36 hours.

While talking to state-run TV on Tuesday, he said maximum temperature of upper Punjab would remain 41 or 42C but from tomorrow it would reduce.

He said heat waves would also subside on Wednesday in upper Punjab and hilly areas but it would continue in Sindh for the next two days.

He said that in western and plain areas of Punjab, hot weather would persist on Thursday. — APP
