Platinum Bank

KARACHI, Oct 19: The Platinum Bank’s new management took over on Friday with a seven-member Board of Directors.

The board comprising former federal finance secretary H.U. Baig, Chief Justice (Retd) Abdul Karim Khan Kundi, Nasir Ali Shah Bukhari, Arif Ali Shah Bukhari and Khalid Salem Al-Muhary. The board has retained two members of the previous board — Syed Naveed Hussain Shah and Syed Abid Raza.

Nasir Ali Shah Bukhari will be the new chairman of the board with Azizullah Memon continuing to be its president.

Meanwhile, the Board of Directors of Khadim Ali Shah Bukhari & Co. (KASB) has been reconstituted as the board in its meeting held on Oct 14 accepted the resignations of its above mentioned five directors who have been elected on the board of newly acquired Platinum Bank.

The outgoing directors of KASB board were replaced by Nadir Rahman, Naz Khan, Rizwan Khalid Butt, Arshad Arif and Waqar Syed Mahboob Alam respectively.—APP
