KARACHI, Oct 8: Shehryar Wali of Karachi Gymkhana won the Ledger Super Series tennis contest in Lakeland (Florida) USA when he defeated Philips Barlow of United Kingdom in according to an incomplete message received Monday.
He won 3-6, 6-3, 6-3.
After securing a bye in the first round, Shehryar beat Kimbley Mackay 6-2, 6-2 in the second round.
In the quarterfinal, Shehryar beat Matthew Broom 6-2, 6-2 and his semi final victim was Brendon 6-2, 6-1.—APP
