KARACHI, Oct 18: The law department has reconstituted the board of governors for law colleges in Karachi.

It was stated on Friday that accordingly the VC, Karachi University will be its member/ chairman while ex-officio members will be a judge of the High Court of Sindh nominated by the Chief Justice, the Vice Chairman of Provincial Bar Council, the secretary or additional secretary education department, a nominee of law department, advocate-general and the principal of Islamia Law College, Karachi, will be its members.

The Principal Sindh Muslim Government Law College, Karachi will be secretary / member.

The non-official members are Justice Haider Ali Pirzada, Lt-Gen F.S Lodhi, Justice Agha Saifuddin, Syed Hassan Shah Bukhari, District and Sessions Judge, Kadir Baksh Bhutto, Advocate Karachi, Mohammad Jamil Choudhari, advocate, Mohammad Ashraf Qazi advocate, and Ubaidur Rehman, advocate.—APP
