BADIN, Oct 12: Husna Rahu of the PML (Q), who was defeated by a PPP candidate in PS-59, here on Saturday said the election in her constituency was rigged and demanded of the authorities concerned to hold re-polling at rigged polling stations.
Speaking at a press conference, she said the results were prepared by the PPP candidate in collusion with polling staff, under the influence of the district Nazim of Badin.
Husna said a PPP activist, along with other armed persons, came at Deh Asely and attacked her voters. She said her voters were at gunpoint stopped by PPP supporters from voting at Ibrahim Chandio polling station.
She demanded of the president and the Chief Election Commissioner to hold re-polling at Bachal, Chak-2, Ali Murad Chandio, Gohran Chandio, Chak-14, Haji Abdullah Jutt, Asselly, Gul Mohammad Bohar, Jafar Ahmadani, Chak-49, Umer Pusio, Lal Mohammad Gallah and Jaluddin Rahimoon polling stations.
