Fine spell by Habibullah

KARACHI, Oct 8: A fine spell of off-spin by Habibullah, enabled Young Baloch CC register a narrow two-wicket triumph over Dhorajee Sports, in the KCCA Zone III B Division League cricket tournament played Tuesday.

Electing to bat after winning the toss, Dhorajee Sports were bundled out for 126 in 32.1 overs with Habibullah causing the damage with fine figures of six for 28. Murtaza chipped in with two for 25. Haris Ahmed (28), was the only batsman who faced the bowling attack with confidence.

Young Baloch had their fair share of troubles and just scraped through to the winning target of 127, losing eight wickets. Sound batting by Mohammad Asif (35) and Mehboob (32), enabled Young Baloch to scrape through, with Ali Danawana on the rampage with five for 45 and Adeel Abbasi three for 33.
