KARACHI, Oct 8: Arrangements for the annual convocation of the University of Karachi were finalized on Tuesday in a meeting of the KU convocation committee, presided over by vice-chancellor Dr Zafar Saied Saify.
It was decided that guests would be seated at 9:45am, while Sindh Governor Mohammedmian Soomro would arrive at 9:55am and enter the arena at 10:05am to confer degrees to the successful candidates.
JAREEDA: The KU Bureau of Composition, Compilation, Translation and Publication has announced publication of its 19th edition of educational journal, ‘Jareeda’.
The issue includes Urdu translations of terminologies of internet, fine arts and construction engineering.
Vice-chancellor Dr Saify has reorganized the Daru-tarjuma that has started publishing educational, literary and curricular books under the supervision of Dr Moinuddin Aqeel.—PPI
