2 candidates, 50 workers booked

KHAIRPUR, Oct 6: Two separate cases were registered against two candidates and several workers of the People’s Party Parliamentarians (PPP) after rivals clashed over hoisting of flags in Khairpur district.

A case was registered against at least 25 PPP workers after PML-F workers clashed with them over flag hoisting in Ghund Rasoolpur village.

Meanwhile, two PPP candidates, Manzoor Hussain Wassan from NA-215 and Nawab Khan Wassan from PS-32, were booked along with 25 party activists after a clash between the PPP workers and the devotees of the PML-F chief, Pir Pagaro. Three persons, including a PPP worker, were injured.
