MARDAN, Oct 5: Provincial chief of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Khwaja Mohammed Khan Hoti, has blamed that a rival candidate of his son has got issued fake identity cards, particularly for women to cast vote, just to fail his son Umar Farooq Khan in the forthcoming polls.
Speaking at a press conference here at the Mardan
Press Club, Khwaja claimed that an influential police officer of the province and brother of his rival candidate for PF-24 had got issued fake identity cards which might be used by his women supporters on the polling day.
Khwaja has fielded his son Farooq Khan Hoti on PF-30 and PF-24 where Farooq will face his maternal uncle Aurangzeb Khan Hoti who is an independent candidate.
Kamal Akbar Khan Hoti, the police officer, is the elder brother of Aurangzeb Khan who was accused of the forgery.
