KARACHI, Oct 5: Filthy water is being supplied to the residents of two apartment buildings, situated on Khayaban-i-Jami in Clifton’s Block 8, for the past one week.

Residents of Salmina and Jason apartments complained that although they were continuously being supplied stinking water for the last seven days, the concerned officials of the KWSB have not yet bothered to rectify the fault despite the fact, that they had lodged several complaints with them.

A perturbed lady, residing in Salmina Apartments, told Dawn that in spite of the fact that she had lodged a number of complaints with the concerned officials, the lingering issue of contaminated water was still persisting.

Suspecting that sewage might have been mixed with the pipeline supplying water to their apartment buildings, residents of the affected buildings, urged the city Nazim and the KWSB MD to direct the concerned officials to immediately remove the cause of the fault or else they would be exposed to abdominal diseases.
