ISLAMABAD, Nov 12: The capital district administration has prepared a comprehensive security arrangements to maintain law and order during Ramazan.

Commandos have been deployed at all mosques, Imambargahs, churches, other sensitive places and main commercial centres to provide security to the people and avoid any untoward incident during Ramazan.

A meeting of Islamabad Capital Territory administration reviewed the security plan here on Monday. The meeting was presided over by chief commissioner, Mir Laiq Shah and attended among others by deputy commissioner, Islamabad, Tariq Mahmood Khan, SSP Nasir Khan Durrani, IG police, Mian Zaheer Ahmed, director administration, Chaudhry Muhammad Azam, AIG Special Branch, Raja Nasir Nawaz.

The assistance of army will also be sought to maintain law and order in the capital, a senior official of the district administration told Dawn on Monday.
