Tunisian employees of the Prime ministry remove portraits of former Tunisian president Ben Ali to on January 17, 2011. The Moroccan press welcomed today the fall of president Zine El Abidine Ben Ali after weeks of street protests, and said it was a lesson for north Africa and the Arab world. “What happened in Tunisia will weigh on the Maghreb and the Arab world,” said the Arab-language Al-Alam, close to the Istiqlal party which has Moroccan Prime Minister Abbas EL Fassi as its secretary general. - Photo by AFP.
