Growers end protest

NAWABSHAH, Oct 2: The growers of 68th and 72nd regulators of the Nusrat Canal ended their protest sit-in on Tuesday after an assurance by the SDO irrigation, sub-division, Shahpur Chakar.

The growers of Jam Wah and Chun Bundhni minor ended their sit-in protest against the irrigation department, after the SDO assured them that their problems regarding the water shortage would be solved within three days.
