ISLAMABAD, Oct 1: The National Reconstruction Bureau has denied a report published in Dawn on Oct 1 that the government has decided to make amendments to the oaths of the members of the future parliament and the prime minister.

A clarification issued by the NRB on Tuesday said that the news item was mere fabrication, misquotation and based on speculation. The comments of the NRB officials involved in drafting the Legal Framework Order, as reported in the news item, were hypothetical, the clarification said.
