NEW DELHI, Oct 1: India, after weathering a day of blistering attacks by rebels in occupied Kashmir, fired a salvo at Pakistan on Tuesday, insisting the country was the cradle of “global terrorism.”

Deputy Prime Minister Lal Krishna Advani led the attack at a function here billed “Anti-Terrorism Day”, organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party.

“I want the world democracies to understand that the epicentre of terrorism, which was in Afghanistan before the Sept 11 terror strikes, has now shifted to Pakistan,” Advani said.—AFP
