KARACHI, Sept 30: The President PFF Cup Football Tournament will be held at Peoples Sports Complex, Mauripur Road, from Oct 14 - Nov 3.

According to an announcement of Sindh Football Association (SFA) under whose auspices the event is being played 24 teams from across the country including reigning champion Pakistan Army and national champion Wapda will be featuring in the competition.

Teams are drawn in eight groups and top two teams from each group will advance in the last 16 stage of the championship.

The semi-finals of the event will be played on Oct 31 and Nov 1 and final will be staged on Nov 3.

Following is the groups:

Group “A” Pak Army, Crescent Mills Faisalabad, a third team to be named later.

Group “B” PIA, Railways, Pak PWD.

Group “C” HBL, PAF, KMC.

Group “D” Wapda, Pak Police, Aga Khan Gas Company.

Group “E” KPT, PQF Wah, Afghan Club Chaman.

Group “F” Navy, PTCL, SSGC.

Group “G” ABL, KESC, KW&SB.

Group “H” KRL, NBP, Quetta Municipal Corporation.—APP
