KARACHI: 11 cars, 14 bikes hijacked

KARACHI, Sept 30: Twenty-five vehicles — 11 cars and 14 motorcycles — were either hijacked or stolen in the city on Monday, police said.

Seven cars were hijacked. Four others were stolen.

Six motorcycles were hijacked. Eight others were stolen.

ROBBERIES: Two robberies were committed in the city on Monday, police said.

Armed men barged into the house of Babu Lal in Hajani Amna Building and got away with gold jewellery and Rs45,000.

Bandits looted jewellery from Rahat Jabeen’s house in Nazimabad.

WOUNDED: A teenage boy was wounded when a stray bullet him in Mominabad on Monday.

Ashraf, aged 15, was standing outside his house in sector 11-F when a stray bullet brushed his head. He has been admitted to the neurology ward at Civil Hospital. Sources at the hospital described his condition as serious but stable.

Police had no further details about the incident.
