MANSEHRA, Sept 29: Ex-senator Syed Qasim Shah, who was released on bail by an accountability court, returned here on Saturday from America.
He was brought to the Mansehra city in a motorcade from Havalian.
Political observers here attach considerable importance to the return of Qasim Shah ahead of the Oct 10 polls.
His return is being seen as improving the position of the district government-backed candidate for NA-20, Mansehra-I, Gen Salahuddin Tirmizi.
The vote bank of MMA candidate Syed Ghulam Nabbi Shah and PML (QA) candidate Sardar Shahjehan Yousaf may experience some erosion as a result.
