Former SHO, 13 cops booked for robbery

LARKANA, Sept 29: Following the orders of the district and sessions judge, Larkana, a robbery case was registered against a former SHO of the Shahdadkot police station, three ASIs and ten police constables.

The complainant, Ghulam Nabi, told this correspondent on Sunday from Shahdadkot the former SHO, Ahmad Ali Sodhar, three ASIs, Mashooque Ali Chandio, Ghulam Mustafa and Dost Mohammad Leghari, along with police constables, Hidayatullah, Mohammad Malook Chandio, Nazar Chandio, Deedar Bhatti, Sabir Hussain Magsi, Shahnawaz, Abdul Sattar, Zamir Chandio and Shabir Mangi, broke into his house on July 8 and after insulting inmates, looted gold ornaments, a VCP and Rs4,000 cash, and arrested his brother, Sadaruddain Qureshi.

A constitutional petition, through Ali Nawaz Ghanghro, was filed in the Sindh High Court, Larkana circuit bench, that referred it to the district and sessions judge.
