QUETTA, Sept 29: The candidates, who have applied for various posts in the Balochistan Levies Force, have demanded that all the new post be filled through the Balochistan Public Service Commission (BPSC).

The spokesman for the candidates’ action committee, Nasir Hussian, made this demand at a press conference on Saturday.

He said the government had announced new posts of intelligence offices, investigation officers and assistant investigation officers in the Levies Force through the commission last month and had invited applications.

The spokesman said that the applicants had been waiting for examinations, but the commission had announced that the government had withdrawn the powers of the commission regarding selection of officers on the posts and that the home department would conduct examinations.
