KARACHI, Sept 27: The first diploma and certificate awarding ceremony of the DHA Montessori Institute was held on Friday at Defence Central Library.

A total of 49 students who successfully completed the one year diploma course and 33 students who completed the three month certificate course were awarded diplomas and certificates.

Speaking on the occasion, Administrator DHA Brig Asif Ghazali stressed the significance of children’s education during infancy.

He emphasized the importance of the impressions and images formed during the formative years of childhood, which, he said, played a monumental role in the development of the personality and future outlook of a child.

The administrator congratulated the recipients of the diplomas and certificates, and hoped that they would utilize the skills acquired at the institute to the best of their ability in creating awareness about children’s education in society.—APP
