KARACHI, Sept 26: The Pakistan Readymade Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PRGMEA) has urged the chairman of Sindh Employees Social Security Institution (SESSI) to extend the date for registration under the amnesty scheme till December 31, 2002.

The association has pointed that presently most of the trade bodies are busy in elections and annual general meetings.

PRGMEA (south zone) chairman Tahir Aziz, in a representation to the SESSI chairman, said that the last date of Sept 30, 2002, for registration under the scheme is also coinciding with the last date of filing of income tax returns.
