Election staff training starts today

ISLAMABAD, Sept 25: Some 2,000 election staff appointed to conduct polling in two constituencies of Islamabad are scheduled to obtain one day training at FG Boys Secondary School on Thursday.

Principal of the school informed the district returning officer Sheikh Ahmed Farooq that 19 rooms of the school have been allocated for the purpose.

The staff would be imparted training by local experts engaged by National Democratic Institute (NDI) a US based NGO.

The experts have already started training the polling agents of different parties and independent candidates to enable them to play their due role on the day of elections.
