Violation of rules by PML-QA men

LAHORE, Sept 24: The Labour Party Pakistan and the PPP-SB have pointed out violation of election rules by PML-QA nominees and sought election commission action against them.

In an application filed with the chief election commissioner by LPP candidate for NA-124 Farooq Tariq and for PP-145 Shahida Zaheer and PPP-SB nominee for PP-146 Javed Iqbal Moazzam on Monday, eight allegations had been levelled against PML-QA candidates for NA-124 Khurram Rohail Asghar and for PP-146 Muhammad Azeem Malik.

According to the allegations, the two contestants have put up a banner in the main bazaar of Sahiwari, claiming that they have initiated the construction of the main road in the area.

They have also put up billboards and banners bigger than the allowed size while Nazimeen of union councils 46 and 47 have also announced their support for them and put up banners to this effect.
