KARACHI: Women in politics

KARACHI, Sept 23: The Women Wing of Jamaat-i-Islami is organising a seminar “Role of Women in National Politics” at Karachi Press Club on Tuesday.

Women candidates for forthcoming elections, belonging to various political parties, will speak and highlight their parties’ manifestos.

Dr. Farida Ahmed of Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam will be the chief guest. Ayesha Munawwar, President, Women Commission, Jamat e Islami will preside over the programme.

Nasreen Jalil of Muttahida Qaumi Movement, Ghinwa Bhutto of PPP (SB), Tanveer Khalid of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf, Fauzia Wahab of PPP and many others will speak.—APP
