LAHORE, Sept 21: The Pakistan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (PPMA), Punjab and NWFP, annual general meeting on Saturday elected Amjad Ali Jawa chairman for the session 2002-2003.

Amjad Jawa replaced Najmul Hasan Jawa.

The PPMA meeting also elected its 11 Regional Executive Committee (REC) members.

The REC members were; Mian Nazir Ahmad, Khwaja Muhammad Akram, Amjad Husain, Sheikh Jamil Altaf, Raza Zahid, Abdul Hameed Shami, Javed Yaqoob, Malik Rizwan Younas, Shahid Akhtar, Riaz Arshad and Iqbal Husain Malik. It may be mentioned that the PPMA, Pakistan, centre executive committee would be held in Karachi on Sept 27 to elect chairman and vice-president. —Reporter
