KARACHI: Candidates lodge FIRs

KARACHI, Sept 19: Candidates contesting the national assembly seat (NA-252) have lodged reports against workers of rival parties at the Gulshan-i-Iqbal police station.

Dr Fahimuddin, a candidate of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, lodged an FIR against five workers of the Mohajir Qaumi Movement for removing party flags and banners and manhandling rival party workers.

A similar FIR was lodged by Nazeer Ibrahim contesting from the same constituency and candidate of Mohajir Qaumi Movement against the workers of the rival party.
