HYDERABAD: Two held for boy’s murder

HYDERABAD, Sept 19: Two persons, implicated in the murder of a young boy on Sept 11, were arrested on Wednesday.

The boy was killed in the jurisdiction of Gulshan-e-Hali police station.

Shaukat Bin Yamin and Kamran Bin Mahmood were arrested from Sabzi Mandi. An FIR was lodged against them soon after Naushad s/o Shamshad, 18, was stabbed to death in full view of the public.

Shaukat and Kamran had attacked Naushad near Jamil Clinic on Kallu Chowk as the deceased was walking with his brother, Aijaz Ali Shah, towards their home.

Aijaz said that he was restrained by the murderers as they stabbed his brother repeatedly, leaving him in a pool of blood. Naushad died on the spot. The killers later escaped in full view of the public.

GIRLS INJURED: Six persons, including five girls, were injured on Wednesday as a school van overturned after colliding with an NLC vehicle near Citizen Colony. The driver of the van was also injured. The Bhitai Nagar police said no case was lodged as NLC officials were dealing with the case. The school van was coming from Jamshoro.
