Rangers to be deployed

MIRPURKHAS, Sept 18: Rangers and police will be deployed at as many as 287 polling stations, which have been declared sensitive, in Mirpurkhas and Tharparkar districts.

There are a total of 1,004 polling stations in both the districts.

Police and civil defence Razakars would be deputed at the remaining polling stations. Some 640 polling stations have been set up in district Mirpurkhas for three national and seven provincial assembly seats. A total of 217 polling stations have been declared sensitive here.

Meanwhile, 364 polling stations have been set up in Tharparkar district for two national and four provincial assembly seats. About 70 of these have been declared sensitive.—Correspondent
