KARACHI, Sept 17: Over fifty people, who will be affected by the construction of Sasi overhead bridge, on Monday staged a protest demonstration against non-payment of compensation, near Ghakhar Phattak on the National Highway.
It is reported that work on the construction of the bridge at the Ghakhar Phattak, on the National Highway, has been started and over 50 houses are being bulldozed. The victims demanded the NHA to allot them alternative plots as promised.—PPI
