FAISALABAD, Sept 16: Iqbal Stadium will provide ideal playing conditions during the opening four-day ‘Test’ between the ‘A’ outfits of Pakistan and Sri Lanka, starting from Tuesday.

Sri Lanka are led by off-spinning all-rounder Thilan Samaraweera while Faisal Iqbal leads a strong Pakistan squad containing several Test players and promising youngsters.

Both teams arrived here Sunday and had nets on Monday.

The stadium has been fully refurbished for the event while elaborate security measures have also been made by deputing police and security staff.
