Lack of amenities protested

SUKKUR, Sept 12: The people of Bashirabad on Wednesday took out a protest procession against the non-supply of drinking water and lack of other basic facilities.

They marched through main thoroughfares of the city and staged a protest demonstration in front of the Sukkur Press Club.

The demonstrators were holding banners and placards, and were raising slogans against the Municipal Corporation.

Speaking on the occasion, leaders of the protestors said in Bashirabad and its vicinity, no water was supplied, no roads were constructed and no drainage system was laid by the Corporation.
