PPCBL raises credit limit

LAHORE, Sept 9: The Punjab Provincial Cooperative Bank Ltd has increased the outside credit limit by Rs2 billion to Rs12 billion.

The decision was taken at the annual general meeting of the bank here on Monday. The meeting was informed that the bank’s share capital had grown to Rs116.316 million and reserve funds to Rs943.980 million. Similarly, the deposits reached the figure of Rs1.438 billion.

The bank disburses more than Rs5 billion among small farmers through more than 16,000 affiliated cooperatives.
