KARACHI, Sept 6: The Sindh Democratic Alliance is aimed at creating harmony among all people living in the province and it would bring the politics of hatred, prejudices and ethnicity to an end and turn the province into a citadel of peace.
Speaking to the participants of a National Unity Walk, organised by the party in connection with the “Defence Day” on Friday outside mausoleum of Quaid-i-Azam, the SDA chief, Imtiaz Shaikh, lamented that in the past vested interest exploited resources of the country and accumulated wealth and were now living a luxurious life abroad.
He said if the National Alliance, which is a coalition of patriotic parties, was voted to power, it would work for ending unemployment, and restore writ of the law and bring down prices.
Others who spoke included Malik Ayaz, Wasif Qavi, Dr Taj, Ejaz Khokhar, Rana Ashfaq and Tariq Hashmi.
