Mubashir, Jawaid shine

KARACHI, Nov 8: Even a fighting century by Jawaid Qadeer (113) containing four sixes and six boundaries could not save Zove VIII Whites from a 83-run defeat against Zone III in the KCCA Inter Zonal cricket tournament match played at the KCCA ground Thursday.

Batting first Zone III amassed 317 for five wickets in the allotted 50 over with Mubashir Ahmed hitting 138. Despite Jawaid Qadeer’s effort Zone VII White were restricted to 234 for three wickets in their allotted overs.
