PESHAWAR, Aug 28: A meeting was held here on Wednesday to review various proposed and ongoing projects funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

The meeting, presided over by the NWFP Minister for Finance Farid Rehman, was attended by administrative secretaries of irrigation, local government and rural development, finance, forest, agriculture, schools and literacy, works and services, health and industry departments, besides representatives of Asian Development Bank.

On this occasion, matters relating to loan disbursement and financial management, audit, difficulties in achieving targets and other related issues were discussed.

The projects, funded by the Asian Development Bank, are in the agriculture, rural development, physical and social infrastructure sectors.

The minister stressed the need for coordination in order to complete the projects within the stipulated period.
