No nomination paper rejected

LAHORE, Aug 27: No nomination paper was rejected on the first day of scrutiny on Tuesday.

Besides Shahbaz Sahrif and other bigwigs, the names of the following candidates were cleared on Tuesday.

NA-121: Aurangzeb Shami, Fareed Paracha, Faiz Rahim Khan, Muhammad Jehangir, Mian Muhammad Nawaz, Mir Ziaul Mustafa and Mian Muhammad Hanif.

NA-122: Imran Khan, Muhammad Amin Chaudhry, Chaudhry Ghulam Qadir, Pervez Saleh, Pervez Malik, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq.

NA-124: Aitzaz Ahsan, Farooq Tariq, Abdul Halim Khan, Dr Amer Siddiqi.

NA-125: Humayun Akhtar Khan, Haroon Akhtar, Shahid Zulfiqar, Tahir Mehmood, Mushatq Husin, Naveed Gulraize, Saleemullah Khan, Akhtar Husain, Muhammad Naveed Chaudhry, Aftab Ahmad Khan Lodhi, Umar Hayat, Muhammad Akram Zaki, Pervez Saleh, Mian Waheed, Habibur Rehman, Muhammad Abid Bhatti, Sheikh Aziz Ijaz, Iftikhar Ali.

NA-130: Rana Muhammad Ashraf, Khadim Hussain Bhatti, Chaudhry Muhammad Ijaz Diyal, Chaudhry Muhammad Saleem, Samina Khalid Ghurki and Malik Javed Awan.

The scrutiny of PP-155 would be held on Wednesday (today).

The PP-139 and 140, Gulraize Ahmad, Rana Zahid, Mian Saleem, Arif Dogar, Abdur Rehman Lodhi, Umer Sharif, Riaz Akhtar, Munir Ahmad Khan, Malik Muhammad Husain

The scrutiny of three candidates from PP-154 Sajjad Rabbani, Tariq Chaudhry, Mian Hafeez was deferred. Those whose candidature was included accepted Saadullah Khan, Munir Ahmad, Falak Sher, Anwar Toor, Ajmal Naqvi, Tajammal Khan, Iftikhar Ali, Ayaz Bhatti, Nasrullah Mughal, Liaquat Ali, Khurram Mian, Abdul Aleem, Salma Naeem, Rabia Khan, Khalid Ijaz, Shahzada Ismat, Iftikhar Ahmed.

The scrutiny of PP-153 would be held on Wednesday (today).

PP-143: Cases of four candidates were adjourned, one withdrew his papers and the rest of them were accepted.

PP-152: Munir Iqbal, Seerat Hussain, Mehr Khan, Ashraf Ijaz, Afshan Afzal, Matiur Rehmad, Ahmed Ali, Amin Zaki, Iqbal Cheema, Iqbal Mehmood, Qari Zawwar Bahadur.

Objections were received against Pervez Saleh, Azhar Malik, Shahid Razzaq, Rubina Suhail and Allama Zubair Ahmed Zaheer.
