TOKYO, Aug 27: Nissan Motor Co. Ltd. was the only major Japanese automaker to boost sales at home as new models released earlier in the year convinced thrifty consumers to part with their cash, data showed on Tuesday. Nissan’s sales in Japan rose 10.5 per cent from a year earlier to 80,110 vehicles, marking the fourth consecutive month of gains.—AFP
